Floating Vanities Don't Have to Look Cheap: Shaker Style, Solid Wood Construction

Search for a "floating vanity" or "wall mount vanity" and almost everything you'll find looks the same: flat, minimalist, modern slab doors, and construction that feels noticeably lighter than a freestanding piece. That's because most wall-mounted vanities are designed around a modern aesthetic and built down to a price — thin panels, minimal hardware, and particleboard cores.

Disar Trade builds floating vanities differently, and it's one of the things that surprises customers most when they see them in person.

Traditional Shaker Style, Wall-Mounted Format

Our floating vanities keep the same Shaker-style recessed panel doors, framed drawer fronts, and classic proportions found across our freestanding collections — we simply mount them to the wall instead of resting them on the floor. This gives you the practical benefits of a floating vanity (easier floor cleaning, a lighter visual footprint, a more open feeling in smaller bathrooms) without switching to the flat, ultra-modern look most wall-mount options are limited to.

Built Like a Freestanding Vanity, Not a Lightweight Alternative

This is the biggest difference between Disar's floating vanities and most of the competition. Ours are built with the same:

  • Solid wood frame for structural rigidity, not a hollow particleboard shell.
  • Durable plywood cabinet construction, which holds screws and wall-mounting hardware far better than particleboard over years of use.
  • Soft-close doors and drawers with dovetail solid wood drawer boxes.
  • MDF door and drawer center panels for a smooth, chip-resistant painted finish that won't show wear the way thin laminate does.

Why Construction Quality Matters More on a Floating Vanity

A wall-mounted vanity carries its entire load — the cabinet, countertop, plumbing, and everyday use — through the wall-mounting brackets and the cabinet's internal frame. A lightweight, particleboard-based cabinet is far more prone to sagging, warping, or loosening at the mounting points over time. Our solid wood and plywood construction is built to handle that load the same way our freestanding vanities are built to handle decades of daily use.

Available Sizes

Our floating vanity collection ranges from 72" to 102" for double-sink layouts, each available with an integrated Carrara quartz top, matching backsplash, and side splash.
